Programme

Under its 5-year programme, the PPR Corporate Foundation for Women’s Dignity and Rights intends to develop partnerships with international NGOs and encourage staff mobilisation in favour of two goals:

  • Fight violence against women: domestic violence, sexual violence, Female Genital Mutilations (FGM), trafficking, forced marriages, honour killings…
  • Promote women’s empowerment: vocational training, economic self sufficiency, micro-credit, social entrepreneurship, etc.

Owing to its selection process, the Foundation gets focused on quality partnerships and supports projects with a significant impact on the target populations. Its teams pay special attention to the assessment of the supported projects to increase their efficiency and sustainability.

In order to carry out its mission, the PPR Corporate Foundation will both perpetuate actions previously initiated under SolidarCité in favour of women, and launch new initiatives.

The Foundation is focusing on:

  • supporting the non-for-profit associations,NGOs and social entrepreneurs, all around the world,
  • mobilizing the Group’s employees on projects dedicated to women,
  • raising the awareness of our employees, the general public and the experts on the Violence against Women (VAW),
  • advising the PPR brands and companies on their solidarity programs.

WHY FOCUS ON WOMEN'S DIGNITY AND RIGHTS?

  • Structure the Group’s social commitment around topics related to the business, image and clientele of PPR brands;
  • Enhance the clarity and visibility of PPR’s action in terms of social sponsoring;
  • Pursue the Group’s decentralisation of initiatives in PPR brands and companies, while offering them continued assistance.
